I was super excited to have the opportunity to photograph my wonderful friends before the holidays. This was my first time shooting at Holiday Acres and I absolutely LOVED it!

I actually held 4 sessions this day, the Wright family was first. The most valuable lesson from this shoot was it pays to prepare!

As you know, in Houston, Autumn doesn’t really start until December most years. So this October shoot was quite warm. Thankfully, my mother came to assist me. We brought bottles of water and portable fans and did our best to keep everyone in the shade.

The families were so patient and flexible, and as you can see, the girls really enjoyed themselves. Looking forward to shooting there again next year!
